As our community continues to adapt in the wake of COVID-19, we’ve seen local businesses, residents and visitors who love South Walton step up to help those in need, whether it’s raising money to feed first responders or to help restaurant workers who’ve lost their jobs.

Save Florida Business Initiative
Support South Walton businesses during these uncertain economic times by purchasing a gift card through the “Save Florida Business Initiative.” This program directly connects consumers and their favorite businesses, providing a much-needed revenue boost during these tough times.
You’ll receive a $100 gift card for only $75, and all of the proceeds will go directly to the restaurants or small businesses. There is no limit to the number of gift cards you can purchase. Learn more by visiting Save Florida Business.
The Walton County Clerk & Comptroller, Tax Collector, Property Appraiser and Supervisor of Elections Office's have partnered with the Matrix Community Outreach Center to raise money to fund past due utility payments for citizen's that have been financially impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. Food for Thought continues to feed children in need although schools are closed for in-person instruction. An easy way to give is to text GIVEFFT to 44321. Just $10 a week can help feed a family! To donate food, find out more HERE.
Donate to Caring and Sharing of South Walton
This non-profit organization continues to provide food and financial assistance to those in need in our area, as their numbers have more than doubled this month. You can give monetarily online HERE or drop of these needed items at the pantry: peanut butter, shampoo, toothpaste, feminine products, bar soap, canned chicken and tuna, cereal, rice, and pasta
Help the CAA Support Local Artists
The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County announced an Emergency Relief Fund for Artists (ERFA) to address the immediate economic needs of local, professional artists who have experienced loss of income due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A fundraising campaign has also been launched to ensure that funds are available to meet the demand and need.
