April 4: The Mosleys and The Thompsons Live at The REP: 7:30 p.m.

Local favorites The Mosley’s, Will Thompson and Lindsey Thompson unite for an unforgettable evening of powerful music at The REP Theatre. From The Mosley’s folk roots to Will Thompson’s rockin’ country tunes and Lindsey Thompson’s sweet melodies there is something for everyone in this special Live at The REP concert.

April 4-7: Emerald Coast Theatre Company: “Around the World in 80 Days”: 7:30 p.m.

It’s not the destination, it’s the journey. Jules Verne’s classic tale springs to life in this clever, fast-paced comedy for the whole family. “Around the World in 80 Days” is a whirlwind odyssey that will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to unexpected end. All ages, 120 mins. April 4, 5, 6 show begins at 7:30 p.m. April 7 show begins at 2 p.m.

April 6: Shades Bar & Grill 12th Annual Seafood Boil Benefit: 12 p.m.

Shades Bar & Grill is excited to announce their 12th Annual Seafood Boil Benefit on April 6 will benefit Children’s Volunteer Health Network. The all-day event at Shades in Inlet Beach will feature live music from noon-6 p.m. Enjoy boiled crawfish, raw oysters and traditional Jambalaya. The fun-filled family event will offer bouncy houses for the kids and plenty of activities for everyone.

April 11-14: Sandestin Wine Festival

Known as the “Kentucky Derby of Wine Festivals,” the Sandestin Wine Festival is held April 11-14 at the Village of Baytowne Wharf. The event gets under way with the Official Kickoff Party in the Village Thursday night. Wine seminars and dinners round out day one of the events. Friday, guests can enjoy an elaborate four-course, Gulf Coast seafood menu paired with premium champagnes aboard the Solaris. Saturday’s Grand Tasting will feature hundreds of domestic and international wines and offers excellent eats from local restaurants with the Savor South Walton experience.

April 12-13: Annual 30A Sand Rover Rally

The 6th Annual 30A Sand rover Rally, presented by Land Rover Gulf Coast, will be held April 12-13 in Santa Rosa Beach for a weekend full of outdoor adventure, live music and more. Every year, over 100 Land Rovers and assorted beach cruiser enthusiasts participate in this family-friendly event that includes thrilling trail rides, live music and more. April 13: Callaghan Live at The REP: 7:30 p.m.

Playing piano and guitar Callaghan offers a stunning voice which earns frequent comparisons with artists like Sarah McLachlan and Emmy Lou Harris. Her songwriting chronicles the stories, experiences and emotions which are part of everyone’s lives. A long-time Shawn Mullins fan, she contacted the Atlanta singer-songwriter online and, after being knocked out by her music, he agreed to produce her debut album, “Life in Full Colour.”

April 17: Ca$h for Comedy Fundraiser at the Emerald Coast Theatre Company: 7 p.m.

You bring the money, they’ll bring the funny. Enjoy a night of comedy as the ECTC raises money for their capital campaign. Improv comedy by the Side Splitters kicks things off with stand-up comedy from Jason Hedden and Damian Summer keeps the laughs coming.

April 18: Third Thursdays Wine Walk at Gulf Place: 5 p.m.

Join the Gulf Place Merchants for this super fun South Walton tradition 5-7 p.m. every third Thursday. For just $20, attendees can enjoy samplings of hand-selected wines, light appetizers, live music and giveaways while venturing to all the unique Gulf Place shops. Check in at 5 p.m. at the stage to receive your complimentary glass and walkabout map.

April 20: TOWNE Live at The REP: 7:30 p.m.

This Nashville-based powerhouse duo consists of Pennsylvania bred, music theater geek Steevie Steeves and straight-from-Kentucky, former bassist for punk-rock band, The Pink Spiders, Jon Decious. When they began writing together, TOWNE’s music began taking shape. The power and passions behind their harmonies and lyrics was incomparable to anything they had experienced as musicians.

April 20: Grayt Easter 5k & Easter Egg Hunt at Grayton Beach State Park: 8 a.m.

The inaugural Grayt Easter 5k and Easter Egg Hunt will be taking place at Grayton Beach State Park on Saturday, April 20. Race start is 8 a.m. Both the start and finish line will be within Grayton Beach State Park. An Easter Egg Hunt for all children 8 years and under will be taking place on the beach at 9:30 a.m., or upon conclusion of the awards ceremony.

April 20: Easter Explosion at Baytowne Wharf: 12 p.m.

Bounce on over to the Village of Baytowne Wharf for an Easter Explosion. Enjoy a day filled with family friendly entertainment, enjoy lawn games, face-painting, and even race over the inflatable obstacle course. And don’t forget to get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny. 12-3 p.m.

April 25-28: South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival

A dazzling roster of dozens of celebrity winemakers, distillers, chefs, brew masters and entertainers converge in South Walton to wine, dine, educate and entertain guests as part of the four-day celebration of wine. Throughout the Town Center of Grand Boulevard, attendees enjoy such attractions as Spirits Row, Rose All Day Garden, Savor South Walton Culinary Village, Nosh Pavilions, Tasting Seminars, Craft Beer & Spirits Jam, live entertainment and more than 800 wines poured by knowledgeable wine industry insiders.

April 27: Earth Day Festival 2019 at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

April 27: Amy Black Live at The REP: 7:30 p.m.

As a singer and songwriter, Amy Black is known for her authenticity and versatility. Her live performance, like her songwriting, spans from soft, tender and vulnerable to fiery, dynamic and powerful. Amy’s love of many classic forms of American music, including blues, country, soul, jazz, and rock n’ roll led her from Boston to Nashville to Memphis.
