South Walton wins Flagler Awards
WALTON COUNTY, Fla. – September 18, 2018 – At the 2018 Florida Governor’s conference, Visit South Walton was the recipient of multiple Flagler Awards. The Flagler Awards are an annual, statewide competition recognizing outstanding Florida tourism marketing. The program was created by Visit Florida to honor individuals and organizations that help position Florida as a travel destination.
Visit South Walton won Overall Best in Show in the category of Destination Marketing Organizations with an annual marketing budget greater than $2 million. Visit South Walton also took home first place in Social Media Marketing, Bronze in Print Advertising, and Silver in Out-of-Home. The Facebook Canvas execution which won Best in Show received over 24.5 million impressions, 153,700 clicks to launch, a 36 second average viewing time and a .91% view percentage.
Of this Best in Show win, Visit South Walton’s Marketing Director Mike Kerrigan says, “We are extremely proud and honored to be recognized at the Flagler Awards.
