August 2 & 9- Moonlight Movies & Face Painting- 8:15-10 p.m.

Bring the family out for a wholesome and fun movie night under the stars. Blankets and lawn chairs are encouraged. Come early to get your face painted, popcorn and hot dogs are available for purchase from DogManDu. Admission is free and open to the public.

August 3- SoWal Craft Beer & Spirits Festival at Shades Bar and Grill in Inlet Beach- Noon-4 p.m.

The Summer heat is no match for this craft beer and spirits festival. Cooled tents will host over 60 craft beers, ciders, Florida distilled craft spirits, and more. Beer and spirit experts will be on-site to share their knowledge, and food tasting will be provided by Shades Bar & Grill, Pescado Seafood Grill and Southside Slice. August 6- Hydroflight Monday at The Village of Baytowne Wharf- 6:30 & 8:30 p.m.

August 7- Boomin’ Tuesday at The Village of Baytowne Wharf- 7-9:30 p.m.

Enjoy lawn games, inflatables and more family fun on the lawn at Baytowne Wharf Tuesday with Fireworks beginning at 9:15 p.m. over the lagoon, food and beverage are available for purchase, admission is free and open to the public.

August 7- The Bryan Kennedy Show with Dave Perez at The Seaside Rep Theater- 8-10 p.m.

Prepare for a night of laughs and surprises as Bryan Kennedy returns to The REP stage fresh off the Garth Brooks World Tour. Bryan engages the crowd and creates a highly interactive show with special guests each night. Come for a night of original storytelling, extreme wit, and cowboy comedy! August 11- Party at the Pub with Grayton Beer- 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

To celebrate the first beers brewed on their new, 7-barrel small-batch system, Grayton Beer Brewpub will host its first Party at the Pub. The day begins with a Cornhole Tournament beginning at 11, Live music by Boukou Groove, commemorative glasses and food specials.

August 18- Sea Turtle Baby Shower at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park- 4:30-7:30 p.m.

Celebrate sea turtle hatching season and Topsail Hill Preserve State Park’s birthday. Event attendees will not only learn about sea turtles but also about the creatures that share the Gulf with them and what we can do to help them. Of course there will be cake!

August 23- Food for Thought Stock the Pantry Party- 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Join Food for Thought for their 5th annual food drive to stock the pantry for the 2018-2019 school year. Teams compete to collect the most food, and 1st-3rd place winners will be awarded. You can enter a team through their website, or attend the event for $5 or bring 5 food items. Food for Thought is a non-profit organization that provides backpacks filled with healthy, easy to prepare foods for students who receive free or reduced cost lunches.

August 30- Throwback Cinema at The Village of Baytowne Wharf- 7:30 p.m.

Throw it back to some of your favorite classic movies with The Village of Baytowne Wharf the last Thursday of every month this fall. All movie showings are family friendly and open to the public. August’s movie is The Little Rascals.

August 31- September 2- Baytowne Art Walk at The Village of Baytowne Wharf- 5-10 p.m.

Each evening from 5-10 you can stroll the village streets and experience a variety of artwork from over 30 regional and local artists. Enjoy live music throughout the festival from local artists and a spectacular fireworks show over the lagoon to end the weekend on Sunday at 9:15 p.m.

Seaside Farmers Market takes place in the Seaside Amphitheater every Tuesday and Saturday rain or shine 8am-12p.m. ! Seaside Farmers Market is on a mission to educate the public about sustainable practices by providing a well-rounded, green living experience. Vendors offer farm fresh, locally grown produce, homemade baked goods, beef from happy cows, heirloom seeds, artisan breads and cheeses, organic eggs, preserves, and doggie treats, to name a few.

Farmer’s Market at Grand Boulevard in Miramar Beach- 9 a.m.  

From 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. the outdoor market will feature dozens of unique vendors offering locally sourced food items, such as produce, eggs, milk, cream, butter, grass-fed beef, chicken, lamb, pork, local honey, pickled vegetables, and gourmet jams.
