CHROMA - Kathleen Broaderick Studio & Gallery

Amenities

Opened in June 2017, CHROMA Studio & Gallery features the art of Walton county artist, Kathleen Broaderick.

As a former art teacher, CHROMA allows Kathleen to combine her personal art studio and love of teaching in one place. Great care was taken in the design of the gallery and studio space to make it a beautiful experience for all who visit. Guests will feel comfortable expressing themselves and find the joy in art, whether it’s in an intensive oil painting workshop, attending an evening class or just visiting the gallery.

Paint and sip-type acrylic classes are listed on CHROMA’S website. The 2 ½ hour class cost is $75. CHROMA supplies guests with beefy, gallery-wrapped canvases and professional quality paints. Everything is supplied for you to create your own one-of-a-kind piece of art in one evening. Kathleen goes through the paint process with you step-by-step. Many people bring food and drinks to enjoy in the intimate setting.

Kathleen’s work has been described as somehow energetic and calming at the same time, kind of like a hazy dream you don’t want to forget when you wake up in the morning. By boldly using color and light, she brilliantly turns any subject into a personal, relatable piece anyone can appreciate.

In August 2017, Broaderick was named an Exclusive Artist for Ballard Designs, one of the nation’s premier sources for home furnishings.
