Art Month - Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County
Event Description
Art Month is an initiative of the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County with the purpose to bring communities, organizations and businesses together to present quality arts and entertainment to the community. Spanning the month of May, Art Month will feature visual, performing, and literary arts programming in diverse formats and in various venues throughout Walton county.
2023 Art Month Walton features events and programs presented in locations throughout Walton County, including Under the Sea - a fundraiser for the Underwater Museum of Art, ArtsQuest Fine Arts Festival, Longleaf Writers Conference, an online Art & More Auction benefiting the CAA, Digital Graffiti at Alys Beach, Music on Main in DeFuniak Springs, performances by the Emerald Coast Theatre Company, Gallery events and more.
On Monday, May 8th the CAA will debut its Art + More Auction featuring original artwork by some of your favorite artists, food and beverage experiences, overnight stays, spa packages, and more. The auction will run through Sunday, May 14 at 3 PM and proceeds support the CAA and local artists.
