30A Songwriters Festival
Event Description
The 30A Songwriters Festival will celebrate its 17th year with over 150 artists performing over the four-day MLK, Jr. holiday weekend in 25+ venues ranging in capacities from 75 to 6,000, including six headline performances at the main stage in Grand Boulevard’s Town Center in Miramar Beach. The Festival’s listening rooms are located throughout the 30A Scenic Highway corridor along the Gulf, in the resort towns of WaterColor, Grayton Beach, SEASIDEⓇ, Alys Beach, Seacrest, Rosemary Beach, and Blue Mountain, and beyond.
Past Festival performers include iconic artists such as Jackson Browne, Lyle Lovett, Brandi Carlile, Brian Wilson, Emmylou Harris, Elvis Costello, Indigo Girls, Graham Nash, Chris & Rich Robinson (The Black Crowes), Mavis Staples, Jason Isbell, The Bangles, John Prine, Rickie Lee Jones, Jenny Lewis, Amos Lee, Rosanne Cash and Steve Earle. Over the past decade, the Festival has supported emerging artists who have seen great success, such as Meghan Trainor, the War & Treaty, Morgan Wade, Sierra Ferrell, Ruthie Foster, Madison Cunningham, Amythyst Kiah, and Paul Thorn.
Since its inception in 2010, the 30A Songwriters Festival has become the largest, most prestigious songwriters festival in the southeast and has won numerous national accolades with sellout crowds every year. The event is co-produced by Russell Carter Artist Management and the Cultural Arts Alliance (CAA) of Walton County, and 100% of the Festival’s net proceeds support the CAA’s mission to advance the Arts and ensure every person in the community has access to Arts & Culture experiences and education.
