South Walton’s Justin Gaffrey Hosts ‘Absurd Form’ Art Opening
Justin Gaffrey Gallery

Justin Gaffrey’s art takes on many shapes, sizes, textures and colors, but his newest body of work promises to be one of his most unique collections yet.

Join Gaffrey Nov. 9 from 5-8 p.m. at his Blue Mountain Beach gallery as he unveils “Absurd Form,” a contemporary collection that reflects Gaffrey’s thoughts on human behavior and conditioning.

“I know this body of work is different from my original paintings, but these pieces show the depth of my thoughts and how I view human nature,” he says. “I am eager to share them with my friends and collectors.”

As part of the unveiling, Gaffrey, a former South Walton Artist of the Year, will also be raising funds for local non-profit Food for Thought, which provides backpacks filled with healthy, easy to prepare food for students who receive free or reduced school meals. One of Gaffrey’s pieces will be available through a silent auction and there will also be posters available for purchase.

Be sure to share your experience on Facebook through the “Absurd Form” Art Opening event page, as Gaffrey will donate a dollar for every check-in  to Food for Thought. And you won’t want to miss the event, as an exciting announcement will be made during the unveiling and everyone in attendance will receive a special offering.
