Easter Happenings in South Walton

Walton County, Fla.– From live music and egg hunts to family brunch (in-person and to-go), there’s plenty of ways to celebrate Easter in South Walton.  

EVENTS

April 1: Doggie EGGstravaganza at Grand Boulevard: 5- 7:30 p.m.

Dog-Harmony presents the sixth annual, canine-only Easter egg hunt and social: Doggie EGGstravaganza! The fundraising event is open to the public at no charge, but for those pups wanting to participate in the hunt, a donation of $10 is encouraged. Each participant will receive a souvenir bag filled with sponsor swag to collect eggs. People and puppy prizes will be hidden in colorful holiday eggs and scattered throughout the lawn. Designated areas for pets over 25 pounds and under will be available and all dogs must be leashed.

Guests will enjoy snacks courtesy of JC's Gourmet, beer and wine, family-friendly games and great prizes. Local musician Rob Romans "Sunsets, Songs, and Stories" will provide the live entertainment and tunes. This event is presented as part of the Coastal Culture Series made possible by the Grand Boulevard Arts & Entertainment Program. Please no prong, choke or shock collars at the event.

 

April 3: Easter Explosion at The Village of Baytowne Wharf: Noon – 3 p.m.

Hop on over to the Village of Baytowne Wharf for a day filled with family-friendly entertainment, face-painting, arts and crafts and more! Also, don’t forget to get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny!

 

April 3: The 2021 Grayt Easter Race: Scattered Start Times 7– 9:15 a.m. 

The 2021 Grayt Easter Race will be taking place at Grayton Beach State Park on Saturday, April 3. The event will offer three different courses to choose from: the CLEAN FEET 5K course, the DIRTY FEET 5K course and, brand new, the STINKY FEET 10K course. Start and finish lines will be adjacent to the pavilion at the end of Main Park Road within the park.

Staggered start times will be used as a COVID-19 precautionary measure. Up to 30 runners will be starting each wave. The awards ceremony begins at 10 a.m. and all registered runners will receive a very cool race shirt. The race benefits Communities of Transformation of South Walton.

 

April 4: Beer-ster Egg Hunt at Idyll Hounds

The annual adult Easter egg hunt at Idyll Hounds is back! The brewery hides various canned beers and eggs with prizes around the outdoor space for adults to hunt with “6-pack Easter baskets.”  The event is ticketed and includes the found 6-pack of beer and whatever hidden brewery goodies the participants find.

 

TO-GO MEALS

 April 3: Blue Mountain Bakery Easter Pick Up/ Reheat Meal

Blue Mountain Bakery is offering Easter to-go meals. Orders can be placed until March 31. All meals are precooked and packaged with reheat instructions. Pick up at Blue Mountain Bakery April 3 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. The menu includes appetizers, salads, sides, family options, breakfast, meats, desserts and other delicious baked goods.

 

April 4: Easter Lunch To-Go at Vue on 30A

Celebrate Easter with a delicious meal at home from Vue on 30A. The meal includes a salad, entrée and dessert. The full menu is available on their website.  To-go orders must be placed by Tuesday, March 30 and picked up between 10:15-11:30 a.m. on April 4.

April 4: WaterColor Inn & Resort Easter Brunch To-Go

WaterColor Inn will be offering curbside pickup for its delectable Easter Brunch. Orders may be placed by emailing wcisocialevents@stjoe.com a minimum of 48 hours in advance. Orders will be available for pickup between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. April 4 at The Gathering Spot, located at WaterColor Inn. Orders will be available within 30 minutes of their requested time. Please note that 22% gratuity will be added to all orders. Beer and wine will also be available, please ask about availability and pricing while placing order.

 

April 4: Cuvee 30A Easter To-Go

Celebrate Easter Sunday with a heat and serve holiday meal Cuvee 30A style with Chef Tim Creehan’s cuisine right in your own home. Enjoy delicious holiday offerings such as premium A5 Wagyu Prime Rib, roasted pork tenderloin with fresh raspberry sauce, garlic butter broccolini, mixed green salad, ciabatta bread and butter, homemade creamed spinach, key west lime pie, flourless chocolate sin cake and more. Orders must be placed by 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, March 31 and pickup is April 4 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

April 4: Easter Brunch and Crawfish Boil at AJ’s Grayton Beach: Brunch at 10 a.m. Crawfish Boil at Noon

Enjoy a casual Easter this year at AJ’s Grayton Beach. Brunch will feature Easter specials along with the usual brunch menu. The crawfish boil will be ready at noon along with entertainment by Will & Linda followed by the Pickled Pickers. Dining will be available inside and in two outdoor courtyards. Children will be able to visit and get their photo taken with the Easter Bunny and hunt for Easter eggs.

 

April 4: Easter Brunch at WaterColor LakeHouse: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Celebrate Easter Sunday with a special family-friendly brunch buffet. Open to the public. $75 per adult, $30 per child 12 and under. (Listed prices do not include service charge and sales tax.) April 4: Easter Brunch Buffett at Havana Beach Bar & Grill: Seating times 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Join Havana Beach Bar & Grill for its annual Easter Sunday Brunch Buffet, while enjoying the Easter Events of Rosemary Beach with the whole family. The restaurant will be offering a specially curated brunch buffet, featuring items for both children and adults. Open to the public, $75 per adult, $40 per children ages 4-12. April 4: Mezcal Mexican Grill Easter Brunch: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Hop on over to Mezcal Mexican Grill at Seascape Towne Centre for Easter Sunday Brunch. The traditional weekend brunch menu as well as the full lunch and dinner menu will be available. Patio dining available, get a free mimosa with the purchase of any entrée. Try a margarita or other hand-crafted drinks. No reservations required.

 

April 4: Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar Easter Meal: 11 a.m.

Spend Easter gathered around the table for a special three course meal featuring Filet Mignon paired with crab-stuffed shrimp or lobster tail scampi. The Easter menu starts at $80 and the children’s three-course menu starts at $16 (Prices do not include tax, gratuity, cocktails and wine). The dinner menu will also be available all day.
