Artist Panel Offers Glimpse into Upcoming Sculpture Exhibition

Visit South Walton is proud to support the biannual Rosemary Beach Sculpture Exhibition. The theme of the 2021-2022 exhibition is “Caring About Tomorrow: Exploring Environmental Independence Through Art.”

The exhibition will open on Labor Day Weekend, Sept. 4 and will close on Sept. 5, 2022.

Prior to the exhibition opening, a panel discussion featuring four of the artists whose sculptures are part of the outdoor sculpture exhibition will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 2 at the Rosemary Beach Town Hall. The event is free and open to the public. Executive Director of the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County Jennifer Steele will facilitate the discussion. The four artists on the panel are Thai Nguyen, Bob Coon, Kimmerjae Macarus and Frank Ledbetter.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the artists, their pieces, their thoughts on public art in urban architecture and more. A beer and wine bar will also be available.

The 2021-2022 show will be the third installment for the sculpture trail throughout Rosemary Beach. The purpose of the exhibition is to enhance the quality and excellence of Rosemary Beach through complementing its architectural heritage and natural beauty with outdoor sculptures; and to contribute to the cultural arts environment in our county and surrounding areas.
