2nd Annual Sand & Starlight Supper Club
Event Description
Join the Seaside School Foundation for the 2nd Annual Sand & Starlight Supper Club on Friday, March 27th from 5:30 to 10:00 pm at Bud & Alley’s Restaurant. The evening begins with cocktail hour in the sand, followed by an amazing multi-course meal and special musical entertainment throughout the night curated by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County. Coming off the heels of one the most spectacular 30A Songwriter’s Festivals yet, the musical experience and ambience will be like no other, featuring the charming and unpredictable, Amy LaVere, and American country music legend, Wynonna Judd. Less than 100 tickets are available for this exclusive performance. Grab yours early... they will go so fast! Tickets can be purchased individually or as a set of 10, which dedicates an entire table to your group to enjoy the evening together. Table for 10: $3,500 General Admission: $350 Special thanks to our PRESENTING SPONSORS, The St. Joe Community Foundation, Silver Sand Premium Outlets and Bud & Alley's for their continued support of the Seaside® Schools. Special thanks to our Starlight Sponsors: 30A Smiles--Dr. Lindsey Hoppe, Continental Pacific and Hilary & Reverie. 100% of the profits from our signature Supper Club events benefit the Seaside Schools, a tuition-free, local neighborhood school serving students who not only live along Highway 30A, but also across Walton County. Your support reduces class sizes and provides middle school and high school students an opportunity for creative, elective classes such as gardening, music, culinary and fine arts, as well as an award-winning robotics program, advanced placement classes and career-readiness industry certification courses. Founded in 1996, The Seaside School, Inc. was one of the first and is now one of the oldest surviving public charter schools in the state of Florida. Its original goal was simple – create a school to address the need for better middle school education in Walton County – and we haven’t stopped since. Seaside School now has over 375 students across two campuses serving grades 5th through 12th. Seaside Neighborhood School serves 5th through 8th grades and is located in the iconic beach town of Seaside, Florida. Located on the campus of nearby Northwest Florida State College, Seacoast Collegiate High School serves 9th through 12th grades offering students the ability to graduate high school with an associate college degree. The vision of Seaside School is to maintain a small school with faculty knowledgeable about each student’s abilities and challenges, so that they can offer increased support to each student to meet those challenges and increase their skills to perform successfully in all academic areas. We seek to sustain an educational community where an emphasis on academic excellence is complemented by our concern for each learner’s personal growth and intellectual, aesthetic and psychological development. The curriculum is developmentally responsive – actively engaging students in learning skills in context, integrative – directing students to connect learning to daily lives, and exploratory – enabling students to discover their abilities, interests, learning styles, and ways that they can make contributions to society.
