You’ve never experienced anything quite like spending the holiday season along the beach. Seaside’s Turn on the Town Celebration is a great way to get things started with an evening of fun for the whole family.
The festivities start with a holiday parade and festivities at the amphitheater. An hour later, Santa is scheduled to pay an early visit for photos and a holiday sing-along. The celebration culminates with a countdown to the launch of Seaside’s holiday lights.
While you’re here, discover why Family Circle magazine included Seaside on its list of Best Florida Destinations for Families. Does the architecture look familiar? The picture-perfect pastel homes and picket fences of Seaside served as the backdrop for the 1998 big-screen hit “The Truman Show.”
The shopping is second to none. Seaside Farmer’s Market every Saturday morning comes highly recommended. You’ll love browsing through this genuine outdoor market of fresh produce, baked goods and handmade jams and jellies from local growers. Check out the Shops of Ruskin with one-of-a-kind boutiques, galleries, restaurants and home decorators.
In addition to the amphitheater, Seaside boasts a nationally acclaimed fine arts festival and its own repertory troupe, as well as a close knit community and genuine family-friendly atmosphere that revels in its own whimsical sense of fun.
