Chris Alvarado is an imaginative songwriter and is no stranger to the 30A Songwriter’s Festival. This Florida native has been asked to perform the festival the past 3 years to share his songs with locals and visitors alike. His song “Nothing Left” was a finalist in the 2013 Nashville, Music City Songwriting Contest and he will be performing at this year’s Telluride Bluegrass Festival. With an incredible passion for self-expression through music, you will hear why he has been honored with numerous awards and recognitions. This Santa Rosa Beach native captivates her listeners with a folky kind of sound that will fill your soul. She inherited the love of music from her family and her infectious songs will stay with you well after her performance. The Owsley Brothers | |
If you don’t know The Owsley Brothers you should. This band calls South Walton home and they are well on their way to being known throughout the county. Mr. J.E. Reynolds, Brian Wise and John Reinlie make up the local rock band and their music is reaching national audiences through television soundtracks, leaving listeners wanting more. After performing several shows during the 30A Songwriters Festival and being invited to the SXSW festival in Texas, this talented trio is ready to rock. Blessed with spectacular natural resources like sugar-white sand beaches and the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico, South Walton provides the perfect laidback environment for the annual 30A Songwriters Festival. With an eclectic lineup of more than 125 songwriters performing at unique venues ranging from funky bars to intimate listening rooms and spacious outdoor amphitheaters, it’s no wonder this three day music festival is quickly becoming one of the most diverse songwriters festivals around. Takes place in January every year and includes a list of artists includes seasoned vets in the music industry like Lucinda Williams and Tommy Womack, as well as newer artists like Humming House and Andrew Combs. |
