Andy Saczynski – 2013 Visit South Walton Artist of the Year
Folk artist, Andy Saczynski, is the Visit South Walton 2013 Artist of the Year.
Andy's use of recycled materials found in his natural Florida environment – from wood and branches found on a local hiking trail to miscellaneous items washed ashore during a storm – it’s obvious that his work places a strong emphasis on the preservation and conservation of the place he calls home. Many of his signature designs are inspired by South Walton’s thriving local music scene, including the 30A Songwriters Festival, and incorporate recycled musical instruments such as guitars and piano keys. He primarily works with acrylic, wood, metal, copper and recycled musical instruments. Andy likes to say he turns…junk into funk!
Andy's art can be found at his Grayton Beach studio and gallery located at 37 Logan Lane, Suite 3, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459.
