Annika and Friends at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort - May 12-13 | |
This inaugural event brings hall of fame golfer Annika Sörenstam to South Walton. Through the Annika Foundation and partnering with SPARK a wine reception and dinner party will kick off on Saturday, May 12th. Sunday, May 13th will include a golf clinic and round of golf with Annika and her celebrity friends at Sandestin’s Raven Golf Club. The day will end with top county star, Darius Rucker performing a concert on the North Park Lawn at Grand Boulevard. |
Sandestin Gumbo Festival - February 18 | |

Digital Graffiti at Alys Beach - June | |
Now in its 5th year, the increasingly popular Digital Graffiti expands in 2012 from one to two evenings. International digital artists transform the white-stuccoed resort neighborhood of Alys Beach into a living work of art. Attendees can meet the artists at the open air Salon and attend various art workshops, hosted by Alys Beach in conjunction with the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County. |
Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic - June 20-24 | |

Sandestin Music Festival - August 10-12 | |
A cross-section of country and rock's most acclaimed songwriters and performers return to the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort for the 3rd Annual Sandestin Music Festival. Various venues throughout the Village of Baytowne Wharf will showcase numerous musicians throughout the weekend, with the weekend's main headline acts showcased at the Village Events Plaza. |
Sandestin Triathlon, August 18 | |
The 26th Annual Sandestin Triathlon will lure 700 participants for a half-mile swim in the Gulf of Mexico, a 20-mile bike along the coast, and a 4-mile run through the 2400-acre Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. Proceeds benefit Sacred Heart Hospital of the Emerald Coast. |

Every year,24 High School Basketball Teams (16 boys teams and 8 girls teams) from throughout the Southeast engage in 37 games over a 4 day period. |
